Today, we unveiled Vesper at the CoinDesk Invest conference, further expanding Bloq’s commitment to DeFi having played an early role defining the category in 2017 with the introduction of Metronome.
This introduction turns out to be well-timed: Vesper’s approach blends a professional, evolutionary path for DeFi with the community dynamism that drives the category. This takes place against a backdrop of DeFi news involving unaudited code, “rug pulls,” anonymous founders/evangelists, and so on.
From the launch post:
Vesper’s system of DeFi products delivers ease-of-use in achieving your crypto-finance objectives. It is powered by the Vesper token (VSPR), which provides the core economic engine that facilitates the building and expansion of Vesper’s capabilities and its community.
The first products within the Vesper ecosystem are what we call “Holding Pools.” It’s really very simple: select the asset and the pool that meets your objectives — Vesper takes care of the rest.
