Last December, we announced that we were working to provide staking services, nodes, and VPN bandwidth to the Orchid network. 

Today, we’re proud to say that we are now accepting waitlist signups for the staking service.

What does this mean? Later this year, users will be able to delegate their stake of Orchid’s digital currency (OXT) to VPN bandwidth providers on the Orchid network. This allows users to earn OXT without having to run an Orchid node or procure/sell bandwidth themselves. 

Orchid addresses one of the most critical issues in technology — privacy — with one of the most important technologies in a generation — cryptocurrency. This is an exciting project to follow and we’re equally excited to be a part of it.
